How we protect your data
Security and privacy explained in plain language. We only claim what we actually do.
Data protection
Connections to the Convoroute dashboard and chat widget use HTTPS, so data is encrypted in transit. Account data and chatbot content are stored with reputable hosting providers and protected by access controls.
Payment security
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Convoroute does not store full card numbers on its servers. Checkout takes place on the payment provider’s secure pages.
Access controls
Access to customer data inside Convoroute is limited to authorized personnel who need it to operate or support the service. Team accounts support role-based access so you control who can edit chatbots and view conversations.
Responsible AI
Chatbot responses are generated by AI and may be imperfect. We require AI disclosure where applicable, support human handoff for sensitive requests, and prohibit harmful uses in our Acceptable Use Policy.
Data retention
We retain account and conversation data while your account is active and for a limited period afterward as described in our Privacy Policy. You can request export or deletion of your data at any time.

If you believe you’ve found a security vulnerability or experienced a security incident involving Convoroute, email legal@convoroute.com with details. We investigate all good-faith reports.
Convoroute does not currently claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or PCI DSS certification. If we obtain formal certifications in the future, we will list them here.
